Disney projects the film will reach $100 million domestically and $192.4 million globally by the end of the Presidents’ Day holiday.

Directed by Julius Onah, the film introduces Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America, Sam Wilson, succeeding Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers. The cast also features Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, who transforms into the Red Hulk, adding a fresh dynamic to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Despite mixed critical reviews, with a 51% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences have responded more favorably, awarding the film an 80% audience score and a B- CinemaScore.
